AVELINE,  is his debut film, and was completed only recently (2021). Inspired by Com Truise’s Propagation (2017) and a black-mirror-esque future which is already upon us in the form of sex dolls and in-home AI, AVELINE looks at a father and son who project their turbulent feelings around the death of their wife and mother upon their android servant. It is a film about: exploring sexuality; the breakdown of familial communication; and the squeamish question of whether a computer has rights, and humans the responsibility to them.His 2021 debut sci-fi short film, AVELINE, won the Paris International Film Award for ‘Best Original Screenplay’ (August) and was selected for viewing in the 2021 Venezia Shorts Film Festival.
